Ong: Reform or status quo?

Ong: Reform or status quo?
By Himanshu Bhatt

Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat
SEBERANG PERAI (March 23, 2010): MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat, who is defending his position in a fresh party poll on Sunday, said today the election provides an avenue for members to demonstrate if they want reform or the same situation as the pre-March 8 general election when the party lost heavily.

Asked if he was feeling the "heat", he quipped: "I've been facing the heat on both fronts - election heat and tropical heat. Which one are you referring to?"

"We are not in the least perturbed or disturbed by any speculation that we don't stand a chance or do stand a chance," he said.

Asked if there were too many splinter groups in the elections, he said: "In the name of democracy, can you stop anyone from contesting? You can't."

"You cannot say that since there are too many contestants, you have to shift the goal posts. That is not the answer."

Ong was speaking to reporters after performing the ground-breaking for the construction of a new school block at SJK(C) Sin Ya in Bukit Mertajam here today.

The transport minister was accompanied by central committee members Eng Hiap Boon, who is also Penang MCA deputy chief, and Tan Cheng Liang, who is the party's state Wanita head. Also present was Deputy Information, Communications and Culture Minister Senator Heng Seai Kie, the party's information and communications bureau chief.

He said the lack of allocations for Chinese schools was forcing the community to solicit donations for upgrading of facilities and equipments, and to construct new buildings.

"I urge the federal government to contribute and support development projects in the schools so that society can benefit," he said. "When the Chinese community collect donations, it does not mean they are rich… The funds are often collected from small-scale traders and the general public who are of low income."

To a query, Ong said he welcomed any action by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to ensure there would be no corruption in the party elections.

"It is important that we do not shower money or promises… This is not a place where you can bid for tenders like in a business," he said.

MACC director of investigations Mustafar Ali reportedly said on Monday that the commission would monitor blogsites and media reports related to claims of money politics in the run-up to the MCA elections. -- theSun

Kopitiam Talks: Ong knows Triad Ong

Ong knows Triad Ong
Oleh CKChew

In Penang, people generally know that when Jacky Chan detained in Simpang Renggam Rehabilitation Center in 1993 for drug trafficking offenses, Ong Ka Ting is Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and the people also know that Ong Ka Ting-lah the one who membebaskannya from detention after only 2 years. To recompense Ong Ka Ting, Jacky Chan later joined the MCA.

It is impossible that Ong Ka Ting did not know Jacky Chan, Jacky Chan either before or while detained in detention and also when he joined MCA. Jacky Chan is a young man so prominent in the world of secret societies in 80s and 90s, involved in the murder case of 6 family members at a wedding in Sungai Petani. This case get excited because it was a case of murder most courageous done openly by the group gangsterism.

In addition, Jacky Chan is also involved in the brutal murder of 10 others, all involving members share their own proportions.Members are killed because they allegedly betrayed the Sio Sam Ong group led by Jacky Chan. This brutal murder is done, 5 of which were found dead after being reviewed by forensic experts, confirmed that the victim was beaten and buried alive. News reported extensively on this murder and after it disensasikan by the media, especially the Chinese media, the name of Jacky Chan and group Sio Sam Ong became public reference. He was aged only within the 30's when the peak of its involvement in the illegal world, seen as potential leaders of secret societies, bold, rich and influential. No people, especially those from Penang Chinese community who do not know Jacky Chan. Therefore, do not try to fool with Mahathir's hopes of closing tembelang party allies.Instead, he as head of the MCA must take stern action against the MCA as president and the party associated with unhealthy elements that may threaten national security.

There is much evidence that shows MCA Ong Ka Ting or conspire with gangsterism. The picture below clearly shows Ong Ka Ting who received form members of Jacky Chan in the opening of branch MCA Gurney Drive and the next picture shows Ong Ka Ting Jacky Chan honored in a ceremony organized by the MCA Gurney Drive branch.

Ong Ka Ting who received membership forms of members of Jacky
Chan in the opening of branch MCA Gurney Drive

Ong Ka Ting giving tribute to Jacky Chan for the
ceremony organized by the MCA branch in Gurney Drive

These images show the involvement of Jacky Chan in MCA and also with Ong Ka Ting not just take a picture with only. Jacky Chan and gangsterism-group relations is the cornerstone of the success of MCA and Gerakan in Penang in the last election.

Jacky Chan extent not only involved in the MCA or BN, but the head of all secret societies at large that there is Penang BN component party members. They like Tan Sri Tan Kok Ping, head of the group or groups Pheh "Red", a "businessman" who is also Director of Berjaya Group, and Datuk Lim Gait Tong, head of group 04 and chairman Farlim also involved in the political BN. Tan Kok Ping, in 80-an ever detained by police in a raid on the council adopted an oath difficult members of the new group Pheh in Bukit Gambir, Penang. He was released without charged in court while 30 of its members arrested and sent to rehabilitation centers or district removed.

Wonders.........

Insider MCA CANNOT believe that a MCA President could be such a gangster.... brought this piece of article to an uncle at kopitiam to verify. Insider MCA has every reason to believe this uncle because he himself was known to be notorious and within the circle of gangsterism when he was young.

"Aiyah... now only you know ar?" Uncle said.... Declining to comment much, suffice to say he has reasons to believe the above is true.

Insider MCA wonders.... if OKT be the President, not only will the Chinese be an under dog to the BN/ UMNO but also an under dog of underworld.

Kopitiam Talks: Chua Soi Lek still OK la.....

All hearsays and kopitiam talks below...

Chua Soi Lek still OK la.... if not for the sex scandal, he should be the President easily. If you are in Chua Soi Lek's position, you will surely still fight for the Presidency... why not?

First, he was snooped allegedly by the TOP leadership of MCA at the time the video was released. Secondly, he was allegedly "promised" that if he revealed and admitted it, "the TOP" will cover the mess. yes, they did cover the mess by stopping the distribution of the video but then no one on the TOP came to his rescue and all silent after his announcement. He knew he was trapped....

Now, Cina mudah lupa.... he forgot the most dangerous person and was happily dancing with the alleged retirement of the TOP leadership. Thinking Ong Tee Keat also wanted to kill his political career, he created heat with Tee Keat. This was the brilliant strategy of the TOP leadership - to see Tee Keat - Soi Lek tussle. Forcing the EGM with third force was also arranged by the unseen hands of TOP leadership. Soi Lek mudah lupa..... while Tee Keat seen the wave of third force earlier, Soi Lek was in the picture to kill Tee Keat. Aih.... if only everyone is OK with the great unity plan which was not so great after all....

Then come the savior to save the party and Soi Lek now is trapped. He was trapped by resigning with the reason "He cannot work with Tee Keat," further having his very own statement to force him fight the Presidency. How can he fight the Deputy President again when he already said he cannot work with the TOP at the time he resigned? Trapped - he also found it surprised that now that same TOP leadership killing his career, return to fight for Presidency. Now caught with a 3-corner fight....

Good luck, Soi Lek...

Kopitiam Talks: Finally..... no menu

Contenders go ala carte

By WONG SAI WAN

The set menu (tao can cai dan) seems to be missing from this round of the MCA leadership tussle as the three presidential candidates claim they are on their own.

saiwan@thestar.com.my

MANY of the MCA's 2,378 delegates were feted to lunches by the three presidential candidates – Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat, Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting – at three separate locations in Kuala Lumpur yesterday before they filed their nominations for the number one post.

Tee Keat had his meeting at the famed Hakka Restaurant in Jalan Imbi, Dr Chua at Corus Hotel just across the road from the party headquarters and Ka Ting at the posh ballroom of Berjaya Times Square Hotel.

By all accounts, the dishes were sumptuous but many of the delegates and supporters somehow felt "unsatisfied" after the meal because things were served differently this time around – their heroes had feted them and spoke at length but yet did not tell them who else to vote for.

It seems there will be noset cai dan (menu) but instead the delegates were asked go "ala carte" – as the three candidates had publicly stated that they were not part of any team.

"It is as if after years of having a set 10-course dinner, our leaders are now telling us to go Western and choose what we want for starters, appetisers, soups and even the main course.

"This is something we are not used to and I do not know how the delegates will react to this seemingly more open approach to an MCA election," said a Negri Sembilan party leader.

Tee Keat, often referred to as the Lone Ranger prior to winning the presidency in 2008, dismissed the need to have a running mate when asked whether he had decided on one.

"We do not have the running mate system. It is our people here who think this is similar to the American system. This is not true," he said.

On the team-up between Ka Ting and Health Minister and deputy president candidate Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, Tee Keat said: "You must ask whether they admit it or not."

What the incumbent president was referring to was the presence of Liow at every single Ka Ting function including the Berjaya Times Square lunch. The two of them were even introduced to those at the lunch on the stage together although there was no reference to them being team mates.

Ka Ting has from the very day he announced his candidacy claimed that he too was not serving up any menu or cai dan.

"Liow has already given his support to me and I accept it. I consider him as a comrade if we both get elected. And if there are other leaders who express their support for me, I will accept.

"If I succeed in this (party) election, I will definitely put everybody together, irrespective of which faction they supported," he told reporters at a press conference, which besides Liow, was attended by deputy ministers Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong, Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun and Datuk Chor Chee Heung.

As for Dr Chua, he made sure that when he filed his nomination, he did it without fanfare or having any team mates follow him into Wisma MCA. He was only accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Wong Sek Hin.

However, when he announced his bid for the presidency on Sunday, seated beside him was Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha who is the other candidate vying for the number two post. While Dr Chua came to the Dewan San Choon quite early, Kong arrived about an hour later.

On the question on who were his team mates, Dr Chua said: "I believe the central delegates have the wisdom to vote a team of leaders who can perform."

However, these are still early days, warned a Selangor division chief as there are still seven days to go and the horse-trading has not stopped.

"In the previous elections, the fixed menu had been known to come out at the last minute when all the negotiations were completed.

"Maybe the three candidates do not want to show their hand too early to ensure that their opponents do not find any weakness in their team," he added.

A Perak veteran pointed out that this was the first time there was a three-way fight for the number one post by strong candidates.

"Coming out with an ill-conceived cai dan so early will be disastrous. Not all cai dan are genuine as opponents could put up false menus in an attempt to confuse the delegates," he said, adding that if there were any fixed team lists, they would only be made known closer to polling day.

"At the earliest, I would expect the tao can cai dan or the set menus to be circulated on Friday night when all the delegates are in town. Even then there will be many false ones – some put up by vice-presidential hopefuls who do not belong to any team but are trying to seek 'shelter' under a particular leader," said the veteran.

Wonders.....

Will the menu really be out by Friday? Yes, some of those cowards will want to seek "shelter".... these will be the cowards forever.....

When OTK spoke about transform - direct President election, relinquish the menu and changing the culture of Chinese - seems to be a bit successful. Yesterday, according to a few MCA insiders, in his speech OTK was "saddened" to see the shouting and boo-ing each other's camps during nomination at MCA HQ, further asking party elders to educate the young ones to set a proper culture. According to some MCA insiders too, the recently launched 1MCA which was just a few days ago proved that OTK meant what he said but doubtful if it was done to garner votes. "OTK has ideas and good transformation, but his one year as President was too short stitched for him to do any reforms. And that one year was not smooth sailing. As a MP, a Minister and then a President with so many hurdles like PKFZ, EGM, fresh election, he sure has much to endure but these lessons will teach him to be a better President and to remain humble as I have seen him getting to the top too soon making his nose at times high," one uncle said.

Asked the same uncle if OKT and CSL have chance to be President, uncle said, "Semua orang ada peluang!" "Election is funny, the person with least hope will emerge champ! Now talks are saying OTK will lose anyway so why waste the votes so please vote OKT or CSL. The least chance...... could emerge champ!" Uncle (he is definitely OTK supporter!) said....

Insider MCA learnt a lesson or two from uncle, too...

Kopitiam Talks: Tee Keat Sure Won't Pull Out...

Tee Keat will not pull out

Saturday, March 20th, 2010 16:32:00

I won't pull out, says Tee Keat

-------------------------------------------------------

Why should he pull out? Insider MCA heard over kopitiam that OKT is to be back to help OTK wins the Presidency with ease. Or OKT could be back to form the Ong dynasty. Either way, OKT is to kill CSL politically.... so is a OKT and CSL fight, why should OTK gets involved?

Kopitiam uncles also do not rule out that CSL is consider dead now that he plans to go for the 3 -way fight.... but he has no choice as he cannot be the Number 2 under these 2 President if elected. So.... go or die - if CSL goes for it he has a chance, if not he is really dead politically....

Wanita MCA vows to work with new leadership

KUALA LUMPUR: Regardless of who wins the presidency, Wanita MCA pledges to work with the new leadership after the March 28 party election, said its chief Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
"Wanita MCA can work with the new leader and team, as the wing must coordinate with the parent team. The new leaders must be sincere and determined to unite the party again," she added.
When asked to comment on some quarters supporting former president Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting in contesting for the presidency, she said: "They must have put trust in his leadership to make such a call."
Earlier at the press conference, Chew, also Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister, said the ministry had sponsored the "Priority to family carnival" programme on March 28.
The event, a collaboration between the ministry and the National Population and Family Development Board, will be held on March 28 from 9.30am to 3.30pm at Tropicana City Mall in Petaling Jaya.
----------------------------------------------------------
Insider MCA went for kopi with a few Wanita during the weekend..... Apparently, CMF has no more commanding power in Wanita MCA much to the time of Ng Yen Yen. A new leader must come - they said.

First it was ALL SUPPORT for OTK when the election was done. Then it was crying show in front of the media and that OTK is not suitable as a President, further boycotting the AGM and gather women for breakfast at the same day of AGM. She also said before that if CSL is the President, she will resign. Now she said Wanita MCA pledges to work with new leadership. She seems to be so sure Ong Ka Ting will be MCA President - why? OKT and CMF, LTL, WKS - the third force, remember?

Uncles and Aunties at Kopitiam asked....
CMF, if CSL be the President? Resign?
CMF, if OTK be the President? Cry?

Sharad Pawar persuades Mumbai Cricket Association to end boycott

Mumbai: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and the Indian Premier League (IPL) have called it a truce. After threatening to boycott the IPL for being 'sidelined', the MCA members have agreed to end the boycott. MCA president Sharad Pawar is believed to have persuaded the members to climb down from their hard stand.

And of course our Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA).....

Uncle numerology said

M - letter number 13
C - letter number 3
A - first letter 1

1331 ==> 1 + 3 + 3 + 1 = 8

Apparently, uncles said that number 8 is not a good number for this year or it could be good but remains uphill. If challenges are met then everything will be smooth sailing. Perhaps the punters are not going to care about the number 8 but the number 1331 could be first prize.... Who knows....

Kopitiam Talks - WHO? Controversy over SMSes drags on

Friday March 19, 2010

Controversy over SMSes drags on

KOTA BARU: The controversy over an SMS dragging the Prime Minister's name into the MCA party election continues, with party president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat saying he believes it is the work of those supporting former president Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting.
The president said Ka Ting's supporters were free to make such claims.
He was commenting on the recent SMSes circulated to party central delegates, stating that Ka Ting had the endorsement of Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in vying for the president's post in the March 28 party election.
On Wednesday, former MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek challenged Ka Ting to state whether there was any truth to the SMSes.
Dr Chua said the SMSes started to emerge after Ka Ting announced his intention to fight for the top post.
The former health minister added that using the names of two leaders in the MCA election could tarnish their reputation.
In an immediate reaction, Ka Ting denied the SMSes came from his side, adding that the text messages were sent out with a bad motive and hidden agenda.
Yesterday, Tee Keat said he was not sure whether Ka Ting was behind "all this".
"But to me, it is all the same. It is too early to say whether such SMSes will have an impact on the delegates because there are so many SMSes flying around, apart from the rife whisper campaign," said Tee Keat when met by reporters at the airport here yesterday.
On the possibility of a multi-cornered fight for the president's post, Tee Keat said such a scenario made no difference to him.
"Win or lose is part and parcel of politics. But one has to remember that if the winner is unable to transform the party, there is also no point in winning as the next general election is near," he added.
On Dr Chua starting on his campaign trail, Tee Keat replied: "We will wait and see. But Dr Chua is always on the move and he is always campaigning for one thing or the other."
------------------------------------------------------
Wonders.....

Who is the culprit sending the SMS? What will the impact be? Let us THINK!

Possibility of OKT supporters sending the SMS so that he is seen to be an endorsed candidate of the PM and DPM. Everyone currently knows that OTK is not really the baby for UMNO or PM so the SMS could have positive effects on winning votes for OKT.

Possibility of CSL supporters sending the SMS out and then CSL became the first to have a press conference and said "I want Ong to deny his involvement in spreading the SMSes and say that the rumours were created by his supporters,"  (Source: here). Why does he specifically wants Ong Ka Ting to denies his involvement in the SMS? Does this mean that he suspect OKT there and there because the SMS contains OKT name? Or is he suspecting it was the work of Ong Tee Keat - therefore specifically wanting Ong Ka Ting to deny involvement? But Chua Soi Lek also in his statement accused OKT supporters - he seems to be so sure it was!

Possibility of OTK supporters sending the SMS too. Why? To create a tussle OKT-CSL? But it should not add benefit to OTK because every MCA member knows that he will be losing out now that people know OKT is PM's baby, when all the while OTK is not!

Kopitiam Talks: SMS Tactic Irresponsible Act, Says Soi Lek

March 17, 2010 18:06 PM

SMS Tactic Irresponsible Act, Says Soi Lek

ALOR SETAR, March 17 (Bernama) -- Former MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek on Wednesday described as an irresponsible act the wide circulation of an SMS claiming that former president Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, who is making a comeback, has the blessings and support of the prime minister and deputy prime minister.

"Since yesterday many delegates claimed to have received SMS stating that Ka Ting was contesting the presidency (in the MCA fresh polls on March 28) because he has the blessings of Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"This is not true. I have met Najib and Muhyiddin, who are the Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman and deputy chairman respectively, and they said they would not interfere in the party elections," Soi Lek told reporters here.

Soi Lek was in Kedah overnight and is in Perlis to meet delegates. He was accompanied by Kedah MCA deputy chairman Datuk Chong Itt Chew, who is a former Central Committee (CC) member, and other Kedah MCA leaders.

Meanwhile, Ka Ting said he was not involved in the circulation of such an SMS.

"I do not know where the SMS came from. It is definitely not from me. An SMS which attempts to use the names of the honourable prime minister and deputy prime minister carries an undesirable motive and has a veiled agenda.

"I feel all quarters should not involve the names of the prime minister and deputy prime minister in the MCA elections because both of them do not interfere in party matters," he said in a statement to Bernama.

Wonders...... (all hearsay below:)
Kopitiam talks said that CSL has met PM and top leadership of MCA before announcing that he was the man in the sex video and was promised that the case will be settled and the video will stop spreading. However, when he daringly announced that he was the man in the video, none of the top leadership and PM came forward to "save" him. He knew who has done it..... that's how he so confirmed who but gentleman enough not to announce the names. Can he still trust the top two in BN? Wonders........
Surprisingly, OKT said he was not involved.... then the question is - WHO sent the sms? LTL - in the move of dividing CSL and OKT? WKS? OTK? Hmmmm

Kopitiam Talks: All Set For Ka Ting's Historic Bid To Reclaim MCA Presidency

March 16, 2010 19:02 PM
By Alan Ting

KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 (Bernama) -- In what is believed to be the first time in Malaysian political history, a former party president is set to make a comeback to reclaim the post.

Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting's decision to contest the MCA presidency in the party polls on March 28 is not something unexpected although it has kindled the interest of political analysts as well as party members.

"Nobody has done this before. Therefore, it would be interesting to see whether he would make it or otherwise. His intention may be sincere but the party delegates are divided.

"Some delegates, fed up with the current crisis, may want to put him back (in the president's chair) but there are some quarters in the party who do not want to see him make a comeback," said a political analyst.

Some veteran members of the party believe that Ka Ting will have the edge, whether it is a straight fight or a three-cornered contest, as party members are believed to have had enough of the infighting.

"Not so much Ka Ting's leadership. It is just that people are getting fed up. Anybody who can come in to stabilise the party, the members are happy to put up with him," said a veteran leader who declined to be identified.

Party insiders also believe that some of Ka Ting's supporters, previously known as the "third force" in the party and consisting of some veteran members as well as those who are not aligned to any faction previously, have laid the ground for him to make a comeback.

"It doesn't happen just like that. If you analyse properly, you would know it was done step by step. First, by successfully forcing fresh elections. Then, rallying the people to ask Ka Ting to make a comeback before he announced his candidacy," one of them said.

However, he said, it would be more interesting to see how Ka Ting will pull together the different forces in the party in this elections as there is still a sizable number of party members who are against him and his elder brother, former party secretary-general Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan.

"Even if you can work out a no-contest formula, it will still not unite the party," he claimed.

But to other grassroots leaders, it is not so much of whether Ka Ting can win or not but more of how many votes he can muster.

"If he does not win with a convincing majority, he would find it a bit difficult to justify his return, particularly since he has portrayed the image of a saviour and a unifying force in the party," he said.

In the last party elections, Ka Ting was among the leaders who backed Ong Tee Keat to contest the presidency against former vice-president Datuk Chua Jui Meng.

Now, eyes would be on former deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek as he is expected to make an announcement on Friday on the post he is going to contest.

As more than 50 of the 198 divisions have called for Ka Ting's return to the party leadership, it remains to be seen whether Dr Chua would join the fight for the presidency. If he does, then it would become a three-cornered contest, which is likely to split the party into three groups.

Last Saturday, Ka Ting strongly hinted that he would throw his hat into the ring when he said he would not shy away from the task if he could help the party but both Tee Keat and Dr Chua have ruled out the possibility of Ka Ting making a return.

In fact, Dr Chua also criticised the former president for allegedly not having done anything when the party was in crisis and questioned the need for Ka Ting to make a comeback.

Nomination for the MCA polls is on Monday.

Wonder.......
Pre-steps - Killing CSL's political dream and path - to set the Ong empire in MCA (tool: CSL sex video and LTL)
First step - planning
Second step - gracefully resign due to the bad results of General Elections (now this is what everyone will remember OKT as the gentleman president!)
Third step - support OTK for the Presidency and OKC for his Deputy, hoping that the brother will eventually rise up as President. Alas, brother failed! CSL is back! Planning again....
Fourth step - Continue killing CSL through OTK's hands.... but someone forced an EGM
Fifth step - when support for CSL increases, and OTK seems unable to handle the situation or maybe OTK never be a Yes-man to Yes-man anyway! ---> create a "third force" with LTL to kill both CSL and OTK
Sixth step - Forcing a fresh election through LTL
Seventh step - Coming back as MCA savior!
Great planning OKT..... A long-planned, well-planned, patient, silent killer - to both CSL and OTK.
His "handsome" face does not look so dangerous and cunning but politics.........

Kopitiam Talks - MCA faces battle of presidents

KUALA LUMPUR - Former Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) president Ong Ka Ting (picture) announced yesterday he would contest the post again, setting the stage for a possible three-corner fight in the March 28 party polls

Mr Ong, who led the MCA from 2003 to 2008, said his decision to contest in the polls was a result of calls from various quarters within the party for him to return to save the party that is facing infighting among its leaders.

In recent weeks, only Mr Ong confirmed he would defend his post, raising hopes that other potential challengers would allow him to retain the presidency without further infighting.

However, the former MCA president's announcement yesterday triggers the possibility of a three-way fight for the presidency, because the party's No 2 leader, Dr Chua Soi Lek, might also make a bid for the top post.

Two-thirds of the MCA's leaders quit their posts earlier this month to pave the way for party elections. AP

Kopitiam Talks........

**all hearsay below**

So now... OTK announces a fight.... then OKT came in to be the "savior"....

Will CSL join in a three-corner fight - endangering his political position or will he go for number 2 - a choice which could no longer be a choice because by resigning the number 2 post citing he can't work with OTK means that he has to take the number 1 post. If OTK was elected President and he the Deputy, then how to work together? Back to square one!
Interestingly, it was said that Lim Ah Lek (Team B leader) was the one urging OKT to fight. One may remember that OTK was align with Team B while OKT was actually aligned with Team A....
So... kopitiam talks said that OKT returns to be the "savior" - not for the party but for OTK because OKT returns should help destroy the political dream of CSL.....
